When you’ve got implements to run and the PTO shaft starts giving you trouble—worn splines, bent shaft, or just plain won’t stay engaged—you know how frustrating it is to be dead in the water. This precision-manufactured replacement shaft restores reliable power transmission to your implements, getting you back to cutting hay, running that bush hog, or operating whatever PTO equipment keeps your farm productive.

What You’re Getting

  • Standard 540 RPM speed that works with most every implement you’ll hook up
  • Six-spline design gives you solid power transfer without the slipping you get from worn shafts
  • Heavy-duty construction that handles the torque loads and shock from field conditions
  • Built to handle the power your tractor puts out, day after day

Built for Real Farm Work

Your Massey Ferguson tractor’s PTO system powers the implements that make your farming operation possible, from cutting hay with mowers and balers to spreading fertilizer and operating rotary cutters for pasture maintenance. Whether you’re running a dairy operation that depends on hay equipment, managing livestock pastures with brush hogs and spreaders, operating grain farms that require various tillage and planting implements, or handling custom farming work where PTO reliability is critical, this shaft ensures dependable power transfer.

Made to Last

PTO shafts must handle tremendous torque loads while maintaining precise alignment and smooth operation, making quality construction critical for reliable implement operation. This shaft uses quality materials and precision machining to resist the wear that comes from constant rotation and varying loads that would kill a cheaper replacement.

Installation Notes

Replacing a PTO shaft is straightforward but requires attention to detail. Always support the tractor safely and ensure the PTO is disengaged. Clean the splines thoroughly before installation – any debris will cause premature wear. Apply a thin coat of grease to the splines before assembly. While you’re in there, check your rear seal condition—a leaking seal will contaminate your new shaft.
