When your Ford tractor starts running hot or you notice coolant dripping under the front end, that water pump is telling you it’s time for a replacement. This water pump with single groove pulley keeps coolant flowing properly through your engine, preventing the overheating that can turn a good workday into an expensive repair bill. When your temperature gauge starts creeping up during heavy field work, you need to act fast. This replacement water pump keeps coolant flowing properly through your system, preventing the overheating that can sideline your tractor when you need it most.

What You’re Getting

  • Complete water pump assembly with integrated single groove pulley—no need to transfer your old pulley
  • Updated mounting hole design that works with both older and newer Ford models—5/16 and 7/16 inch holes replace the earlier 5/16 and 3/8 inch setup
  • Works with less rear housing design for simplified installation and maintenance
  • Direct replacement for 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder gas and diesel engines
  • Built to handle the demands of both utility and row-crop applications

Built for Real Farm Work

This pump fits Ford 3000, 4000, and 5000 series tractors with both gas and diesel engines. Whether you’re running a 3000 for hay operations, putting a 4000 through loader work, or pushing a 5000 on heavy tillage, these tractors generate serious heat that needs proper cooling system management. These engines are known for reliability, but they generate serious heat under load. A failing water pump doesn’t just risk overheating; it can cause catastrophic engine damage that costs thousands to repair.

Made to Last

The pump housing is cast to handle the pressure and temperature cycles your Ford engine puts it through, while the impeller is designed for efficient coolant flow even at high RPM. The single groove pulley eliminates the need to swap components from your old pump, saving time during installation.

Installation Notes

Replacing a water pump requires draining the cooling system completely. While you’re at it, flush the system and replace old coolant – contaminated coolant shortens pump life. The updated mounting holes mean this pump replaces earlier versions without modification. Check your thermostat condition during the job, as a sticking thermostat can cause the same symptoms as pump failure. Clean all mating surfaces thoroughly and use new gaskets with appropriate sealant. Don’t forget to properly bleed the cooling system after refilling.
